As an independent not-for-profit organization, Vision First receives no government funding and relies entirely on donations to run its programs. Your contribution makes a difference!

We need your support to expand our programs and change more lives every month. Vision First keeps cost down with a passionate team of volunteers, who donate their time, expertise and personal resources. We pledge to employ 100% of your donation directly in our refugee programs. What we do works!

We have a policy of financial transparency, so each year we are externally audited and will post on the website a breakdown of our expenditures. Our charity registration number is 91/10448 and here are ways you can take action today. Consider making your contribution monthly – it will help sustain Vision First work all year.

4) Sponsor a refugee child:

As a Refugee Child Sponsor you will directly impact the life of a child living in a desperate and helpless situation. With a $1,000 monthly donation, a child can be sent to school from a stable home, with food in the stomach and shoes on the feet. This is the most direct way to provide assistance to those who need it the most – refugee children.

Donations, large and small, help our capacity to provide services and support to our clients. Your donations will help to:

  • Provide electricity, water and gas for homes;
  • Supply clothes, household equipment, blankets and school material;
  • Provide transportation money to get to doctors, lawyers, schools;
  • Purchase medical supplies for acute and chronic illness and disease;
  • Supply baby milk and nappies;
  • Purchase essentials for people who arrive with nothing;
